Hyannis Fireworks: Second Summer Celebration
The Labor Day fireworks show in Hyannis is staged on a barge in Lewis Bay on Saturday, August 31. The show starts at about 8:00 pm. Before the fireworks, you can catch free concerts at various locations from 5:00 to 7:00 pm featuring local bands.
The fireworks show is staged over Hyannis Harbor. Kalmus and Veterans Beaches will be open for viewing. Parking is free after 4:00 PM. Bathrooms will be open at both locations.
The Kalmus Snack Bar will be open, and Perry’s Last Stand Ice Cream trucks will be at Veterans. Family-friendly games and activities are planned at Kalmus Beach from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Activities include the Town of Barnstable’s Marine & Environmental “Critter Truck,” performances and workshops by Movement Arts Cape Cod, and inflatables.
Note that no alcohol, tobacco, or cannabis is allowed on town property. Please respect private property and park your vehicle in one of the locations mentioned on the Hyannis Main Street website.

The HyArts Artist Shanties will be open during the day at Bismore Park (Ocean Street) and the Harbor Overlook. Nearby, Main Street Hyannis offers many great dining and shopping opportunities.
