Where can you get the most for your money on the Cape?
Yarmouth comes in first on our list. You get more house for your money here. It has great neighborhoods, is convenient, and has great beaches. I've always said that Yarmouth is one good value.
Dennis comes in a close second, but the figures are skewed because of all the leased land cottages in Dennis Port. Dennis has distinct villages, great shopping, and great beaches from the bay to the sound. It is also known for some of the lowest property taxes on the Cape.
It has been about three years since we first published our similar page on the most expensive towns. This is one of our most popular pages.
The values shown are the median sales price of single-family homes in towns across Cape Cod. All figures are based on the median sales price for the year to date, August 2024, based on data from the Cape and Islands Association of Realtors. The list does not include figures from Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, or Wareham.
