Chatham celebrates the Fourth of July with Family Fun and Fireworks on July 2 at 6:00 p.m. at Veterans Field, 702 Main Street. Children’s activities will be held from 6:00 to 8:30. The Jeff Lowe Band will play from 8:00 to 9:00, and the fireworks will start at 9:00.

There is no rain date.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a blanket or a lawn chair and enjoy a picnic. The Chatham Anglers will be serving snacks and dinner.

In previous years, these local businesses sponsored the event: Candy Manor, Chatham Bars Inn, Kinlin Grover Compass Real Estate, Chatham Clothing, Chatham Athletic Association, Chatham Cookware, and Chatham Cookware. The Chatham Chamber of Commerce and Merchants Association sponsors the event.
